Matthew is Head of London Agency with responsibility for occupational agency within Drivers Jonas. Based in our City of London office he has 19 years experience of the London office markets, providing advice to occupiers, developers and investors. Key clients include RBS, HypoVereinsbank, F&C, HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Frogmore, Deutsche Kleinwort Wasserstein, Arab Banking Corporation and ING.
Recent projects include advising HVB on their acquisition of 100,000 sq ft at Moor House and their exit from four former properties and, working with his West End agency colleagues, advising BDO Stoy Hayward on their acquisition of 160,000 sq ft in Baker Street. In late 2005 he was a key member of the team that introduced and bought the RBS development portfolio for Morgan Stanley. The sites have an end value of some £1bn.
Current development advice includes major new schemes for F&C, RBS, Morgan Stanley and HBOS totalling nearly 1m sq ft. But he is equally happy advising owners and occupiers on 5,000 sq ft deals.
In addition, Matthew is the author of the well-known London Crane Survey, the most accurate research on office development throughout central London.
